While in California, we stopped in some of our favorite restaurants and shops and even took some time to hike up Temescal Canyon. While the views were unbelievably beautiful, I am incredibly afraid of heights and had a bit of a hard time continuing along without having a minor panic attack. Long story short, after making it to the top, we encountered a pack of coyotes which made for an interesting hike. Being the outdoorsy type that I am (kidding) we trailed on and learned that the coyotes are just as scared of us as we are them and finally found the courage to make our way back down. Never a dull moment!
