My sister and I made this amazing pumpkin bread recipe last weekend! We got the recipe from friends Cathy and Jenica Williamson.
Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
3 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 can of pumpkin (1 lb)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp clove powder
1 tsp allspice
Directions:
Cream butter together and add sugar, gradually beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift all dried ingredients and add gradually alternating each addition with pumpkin. 3 greased 8 x 5 pans. Preheat oven at 350 degrees and bake for 40-50 minutes.
