Our Family spent Thanksgiving at my sister's father-in-law's home in Santa Barbara, California. My sister Kim is married to the son of the famous western actor Stuart Whitman. The girls wanted to make the table setting a little bit more glamorous so we went outside to find natural leafs, flowers, and fruits from Stuart's beautiful backyard. Here is where we displayed everything we found before making the centerpiece.

We decided to display the flowers and leaves by just laying them down on the table in random yet purposeful places. This is such a fun way to make the center of a table pop with color and add interest and conversation to any dinner party. Careful though... the arrangement usually will only last a few hours so make it the last thing you do before all of your guests arrive. Invite close girlfriends over before to help :)
