Skinny Pumpkin spiced latte recipe



I love anything pumpkin and start everyday with a good cup of coffee!  This pumpkin spiced latte has the perfect hint of spice without the artificial syrup flavor and added calories.  I love to make it before work this time of year. If I am having it as a weekend dessert or serving for guests I add fat free whipped topping to make it the perfect treat for enjoying a slow cup at home.


For two mugs:
2 cups almond milk or fat free milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp cinnamon pumpkin pie spice
2 shots of  espresso or I use 2 cups of strong brewed coffee
fat free whipped topping (optional- good for serving a dessert)

In a small pan whisk together milk, spices and vanilla over high heat.  When almost boiling reduce heat and pour over coffee or espresso in mug. Add whipped topping (optional) and an extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Enjoy!
