I've been getting a few questions on how I do my hair lately... Thank you for the feedback! I always love to hear from you.
I found this trick my freshman year of college and have been practicing ever since.
To start, my hair is naturally curly so this glossing shampoo and shea conditioner help tame the waves. I leave the conditioner in for about ten minutes and comb it through which makes a big difference in the texture.
Then I put a little oil on the ends before blow drying it straight in sections until it is about 70% dry. 50% if I want it to be more curly. While drying flip your hair over for extra body.
Next, twist all of the hair into one low bun and when it feels dry, take it out. Voila, the twisted bun creates really pretty natural waves! So. Easy.
If it is a special occasion or the waves are too loose, take a 1 1/2 inch curling iron and holding it vertically, wrap sections around the barrel away from your face while leaving the ends out.
I would love to hear how it works for you!
