For a floral education I tried flower school with my sister Kimberly Schlegel Whitman. We left the class knowing how to make every style of flowers from a bridal bouquet to a candelabra center piece. The
Catherine Mueller school offers flower school for a half day, week, or a years worth of classes each in a different theme. Catherine herself demonstrates the decorations first in French and English and then let's you make it your own with a therapeutic and carefree creation while providing every flower and vase you need to make it beautiful! End class with a Tiffany blue diploma and macaroons from
Angelina.
Take your flowers at the end of the day to keep in your lovely room at
Le Meurice, Paris (33 1 44 58 10 10) 5 minute walking distance from school. I felt like Marie Antoinette in the old French room and lobby redone by Philippe Stark right across the street from the Louvre it has the most impeccable hospitality and is walking distance to the best parts of town!
